Journey’s End is an elegant, gated residential neighborhood belonging to Coral Gables and well known for the waterfront Journey’s End homes. Originally the property of well-heeled industrial entrepreneur Arthur Vining Davis, Journey’s End offers a little less than twenty Journey’s End homes that come with features like magnificent architectural design, unbelievable landscaping, a boatload of amenities and that oh so coveted location right by the waterfront. The neighborhood is just north of Fairchild Tropical Gardens and Matteson Hammock Park, within walking distance in fact.
Journey’s End real estate is quite varied and strongly emphasizes space. Journey’s End floor plans can offer a maximum of ten bedrooms and over 9,000 square feet of living area on property that is more than a few acres. The majority of Journey’s End homes have expansive pools and boat docks capable of accommodating sixty foot vessels. Additional Journey’s End residential features include fireplaces, circular driveways and views of the many Journey’s End gardens. The homes towards the eastern side of the community offer arguably the best views.
